An exciting afternoon of entertainment has been organised at the Red Rock Regional Theatre, 520 Corangamite Lake Rd, Cororooke from 3pm. Join in with other members and watch the movie “Malcolm” (or other film as requested). This will be followed by dinner at the Stage Bistro which is at the same venue. An afternoon not to be missed! Club members are welcome to place their car/motorcycle on display at the Cressy Aerodrome (History Ground to Air) “2026 Anzac Day” followed by dinner at Warrion. Cressy Aerodrome gates open 10am. Tiger Moth flights (bookings essential), live music, food and drinks available. Historical displays. And, to end the day, why not join others for dinner at the Warrion “Ti Tree Hotel” from 5.30pm.

And, as an alternative for those not attending the Cobden calendar event, you are invited to travel to Beech Forrest and then on to the Redwoods Otways, Binns Road, Beech Forrest. Following our visit to Redwoods, we’ll then head. Back to the Gellibrand Hotel for dinner at 6pm. RSVP by Tuesday, 12th May for hotel bookings. Today we’ll leave from the Colac Visitor Information Centre, Queen Street, Colac at 2pm and bring along a thermos and afternoon tea goodies. |

49th Winton Historics is conducted by the Austin 7 Club Inc at Winton Raceway near Benalla. This is Australia’s largest and most popular historic motor race meeting. Enjoy a weekend of non-stop racing featuring historic car races from the 1920s to the 1980s as well as a huge array of veteran, vintage, rare and unusual vehicles on display.
Many members have expressed an interest in making this a ‘camping / caravan’ weekend away. Camping is available at the track. If you are interested, please let Heather know – 0408 401 562. Bookings are online and simple. Race track tickets and camping are separate. Check out www.historicwinton.org for further information. |
