15thDecember

On Sunday, 15th December, the club has organised an end of year ‘get-together’. Take a drive to Gellibrand and enjoy a scrumptious roast lunch at the Gellibrand Hotel from 12noon. Platters will be available on arrival, there will be a three-meat roast main meal (beef, pork and chicken) followed by either a pavlova or trifle for dessert.   Cost: $28 per head or $15 for 12 years and under.  Numbers and payment for the meal is required by Saturday, 30th November for catering purposes.  Meet up with club members at Gellibrand and let’s finish off the 2024 year with a social get-together.

Tuesday, 31stDecember Happy New Year! See the year out with a BBQ at the home of Chris and Malcolm Wilson, 71 Armstrong Street, Colac. Bring your own meat for the BBQ and drinks, plus nibbles, a salad or sweets to share. Arrive from 6.30pm.

Sunday, 19thJanuary

Colac Motofest at Colac Showgrounds is Colac’s own motor show! This includes cars, bikes, hot rods, tractors, and stationary engines. If you would like to drive to the car show as a group, please meet at the Colac Visitors Information Centre at 8.30am, to leave by 8.45am and we will park together at the Motofest.

Sunday, 19thJanuary If you don’t go to the Colac Motofest, then head to Camperdown for the club’s regular catch up at the Red Robin Café, Manifold Street, Camperdown at 2.00 pm. Phone Claudia 0428 962 854 by the Friday before if you are coming.
Friday, 24thJanuary W.I.T.H. run to Lake Colac Gardens(Playground area) BBQ or picnic. Bring along a chair and something for the BBQ. Meet at Lake Colac Gardens at 6.00pm. Contact Paul 0466 090 644 for further details.
Sunday, 26thJanuary Lismore Coffee ‘n cars at the Golf Club. This activity started in 2024 and is held on the last Sunday of each month. This is a great way to spend a casual Sunday morning! Lismore is just 50 minutes from Colac and 30 minutes from Camperdown. Enjoy good coffee, good company and park your collectable car/motorbike with others between 10am and 12noon. Friday, 31stJanuary – Sunday, 2ndFebruary Queenscliff Rod Run – although not a designated club event, this is always a great weekend for everything hot rod! Head down to Queenscliff and join in the activities – Sunday is usually the busiest day of the weekend for public to attend. Meet up with other members for coffee – a regular on the calendar on the first Sunday of the month. No need to book, just arrive around 10am.
Friday, 7thFebruary W.I.T.H. run to Birregurra Park. Bring your own BBQ / picnic or buy. Pizzas are also available from the store. Leave Colac Visitor Centre at 6.00pm and it’s just a 20minute drive to Birregurra. Contact Paul 0466 090 644 for further details.
Saturday, 15thFebruary After the success of the 2024 event the 2nd Birregurra Motor Show will be held in Main Street Birregurra on Saturday,15th February 2025.  The event will be open to the public between 8.00am and 2.00pm.  20 trophies will again be on offer across a range of categories.  If members would like to drive to Birregurra together, meet at the Colac Visitor Centre at 8.30am and we’ll travel and park as a group. www.birregurramotorclub.com.au

If you want to drive to Lake Purrumbete as a group, members will leave the Colac Visitor Information Centre at 6.00pm. It is a 30minute drive to Lake Purrumbete.

Saturday, 1st March Heytesbury Show ‘n Shine at Simpson – this has been a popular event over the past few years and in past years has clashed with the Colac Kana Festival. There are great prizes to be won in the show and shine; a wonderful family day out. Simpson is located just 30 minutes from Colac. Contact Heather 0408 401 562 for further details.

Sunday, 2ndMarch If you would like to head to Winchelsea today with other club members, the Winchelsea markets have a variety of indoor and outdoor stalls, a food court and wonderful local produce. The Winchelsea market is a social celebration of all things good – food, family, friends, and conversation.

Members will meet at the Colac Visitor Information Centre from 8.30pm and head to Winchelsea for a great day out.

It’s the Labour Day long weekend Cobden Restoration Park Vintage Rally weekend and what a weekend this is! Display your vehicle on either day. Visit the many market stalls and shed displays. Steam engine displays, vintage tractor pull and an auction on Saturday from 11am. Plenty of food and refreshments are available. Two excellent days.

Friday, 14thMarch Colac Collectable Car Club “General Meeting” the first for the 2025 year. Meet at the Colac Scout Hall at 7.30pm. If you are unable to attend, please email or message your apology to the Secretary. Supper will be provided.

Saturday, 15th March The Colac Collectable Car Club has been a long-time participant of the Colac Kana Festival and the 2025 event is going to be a little different. The 2025 theme for Colac Kana Festival is set to pay homage to its new location, while also honouring traditional features of Kana.

‘A Country Fair’ will be the festival’s theme for 2025, held at the Colac Showgrounds on Saturday March 15.

Cowboys, flannels, balloons, hayrides…the possibilities are endless. Keep up to date with details of the 2025 Kana Parade
